West Palm Beach sits on the mainland side of the Lake Worth Lagoon, directly across from the barrier-island town of Palm Beach. It is the governmental and commercial center of Palm Beach County, with a revived downtown along the water.
Growth
West Palm Beach combines waterfront, culture, offices, restaurants and an increasingly visible urban transformation. Downtown, CityPlace, North Flagler and the new mixed-use districts are redefining the city's residential experience.
The NORA District, new office buildings, medical projects and residential developments reflect an expansion that brings in retail, hospitality and walkable space. NORA is reclaiming a former warehouse corridor to create a new urban district connected to downtown.
West Palm Beach is going through a new stage in which housing, business and lifestyle are transforming its urban core.
